The tour centers around the Ramon Crater. Beginning with a ride along the edge of the craters walls taking in the views over the crater. We descend to the spring of Sahronim. Moving on to the Canyon of Paresat Nekarot where we hike in the canyon. From here its back on the 4x4 trail to the dramatic Noah ascent. Returning after 4.5 hrs to Mitzpe Ramon. From the bottom of the crater we ascend the craters walls by way of 'Noah's ascent. Having reached the top of the crater we drive along a scenic route over the crater walls till Mitzpe Ramon. From here we head west to the Eilot* Valley near the Egyptian border. In this valley we see Atlantic Pistacia trees dating back 2000 years and enjoy an additional 4x4 ride through the stunning nature of the area. We exit the Eilot valley right beside the Egyptian border and head back during the late afternoon to Mitzpe Ramon. First we ascend Massada at the top of the Zohar ascent, we then head to Mitzad Haturim to take in the breathtaking views that span the Dead Sea. We continue on an exciting off road track to the Yair ascent. On to the Amiaz plateau before crossing the Paratzim valley. Exploring the scenic nature of the small crater and Tzin Valley. We explore the picturesque Paratzim Valley and enjoy a fun and adventurous hike en route. Karkom through Wadi Faran, spending half a day exploring the mountain (considered by some to be Mt. Sinai). Heading back late afternoon, tour concludes by evening. Trip Price: Up to 5 people- 490$ total, 6+ people - 95$ each Two day 'Spice Route & Ramon Crater' (Negev tours) Day 1 - Departing early morning from Mitzpe Ramon in the Negev, we explore the highlights of  the Ramon Crater before ascending the craters steep walls on the ‘Ramon Ascent'. Driving along the edge of the crater, to take in its wonderful views, we reach the Eilot Valley. Here we find impressive Atlantic Pistacia trees that date back 2000 years. Continuing onto Mitzpe Ramon and then driving back down into the crater on 'Noah's ascent'. By afternoon we reach the historic Spice Route to tour a particularly scenic stretch.  At the Nekorot Valley we stop to enjoy our evening meal by the campfire and settle for the night either outdoors, or at the 'Desert Shade Khan'* (hotel accommodation also available). Day 2 – Following breakfast we join the Spice Route and experience the same breathtaking views and sights as the ancient merchants who journeyed here in times long past. We visit the ruins of the Nekorot fortress and Mo'ah. We explore the Ashosh valley whose valley walls are an unusual combination of flint and limestone. Continuing onto the Barak valley we enjoy a hike through the Barak canyon, before heading back to the jeeps for our return journey to conclude the tour. Trip Price: 2 people $840$, Up to 4 pax $890 total, 5+pax $195 each. Supplements for hotels or hostels. *khan = traditional desert camp accommodation Southern Negev (Eilat Mts.)- 2 Days Camels /Jeeps Combined (Negev tours) This unique overnight tour through the Eilat Mountains in the Negev desert, combines an exciting 4X4 Jeep tour and an adventurous camel trek. The Eilat mountains is arguably the most scenic area of the Negev. Day 1- Setting off from Eilat in Jeeps, we journey off road into the Arava Valley. From here we begin our ascent to the Negev Plateau on a dramatic 4X4 route that passes Wadi Eteq. Here we stop for a picnic lunch and a walk through the Eteq Canyon which, because of its permanent rock pools, is a favorite spot for the local wildlife. Further on we reach Mt. Berech and enjoy its views over the Timna Valley. From here we continue our journey to the top of the Plateau and onto Shacharut. Shaharut is a small hamlet - village situated on huge cliffs where the Negev Plateau plummets into the Arava Valley (great-rift valley). The village has its own 'khan' (traditional accommodation for desert travelers). Here we enjoy the fantastic views and peaceful atmosphere along with a very hearty evening meal . During the evening we enjoy traditional desert music and a local shares with us some desert legends and anciant traditions. Provided with mattresses and sleeping bags we camp here for the night. Day 2- Upon awakening we gather near the cliffs to admire the panoramic views which span over the Arava Valley to the Edom Mountains of Jordan. Following breakfast we mount our camels for a trek along one of the most scenic camel routes in the Negev Desert. We ride and hike at a leisurely pace for 4 hours, taking in the breathtaking views and enjoying the serene desert atmosphere. Returning at 12:00 to Shacharut, we get back into the 4X4 and head for the Kasui valley and its sand dunes. Then it's onto the crystal rocks of the beautiful Gypsum Valley which leads to the Red Canyon. Here we go on foot through a natural obstacle course and (with a little help from man-made fixtures) through and over the canyon's walls, we spend an hour exploring the canyon and its surrounding valley. Back into the Jeep and onto Mt. Yoash where the panoramic views take in the bay of Eilat and 3 other neighboring countries. From here we get back on the road and head back to Eilat.
