This 11 night comprehensive Jewish tour of Israel covers all of Israel's major Jewish sites both historic and contemporary. It has a packed tour itinerary and is ideal for people wishing to get a full Israel experience both ancient and modern. Throughout the tour we visit all the major historic and biblical sights as well as the major landmarks of modern Israel. The tour brings to life the events and places pinnacle in the history of the Jewish race and in the founding of the State of Israel. We explore the best tour routes to take in the fabulous scenery while visiting all the sites of interest along the route. Covering the Old and New Cities of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Caesarea, Acre, Rosh Hanikra, Safed (Tzfat), the Carmel, the Galilee, Haifa, the Mediterranean coast, Masada, the Dead Sea, The Golan Heights and more.
Wednesday – Upon arrival at the airport you are met by our representative and driven to Tel Aviv. We advise an early night so you can recover from the journey and be refreshed for the tour ahead.

Thursday – Israel’s Independence
We begin our tour at Independence Hall where Israel was declared an independent state in 1948, here we learn about the birth of Israel as a modern nation and take in some of the fascinating facts that surround the declaration itself. Next we head to the village of Latrun where we visit the famous 'Mini Israel'. This model of Israel gives us an opportunity to get a comprehensive insight to the land itself, its geography, sights, battles, history and landmarks. We continue on to the Ayalon Institute and the ammunitions factory essential to the Haganah fighting forces that were later to become part of the IDF. In the museum we learn about the Jewish underground and their role in creating the Jewish State.
We end our day at one of the most symbolic battle fields of the war of independence, the Kibbutz of Yad Mordachai. Here we see firsthand how the battles were fought, the weapons that were used and the trenches that were dug out to protect against the fierce Arab assault. Today the Kibbutz is one of Israel's leading producers of honey and olive oil and its natural agricultural products are hugely popular throughout Israel and beyond. We return to Tel Aviv for overnight.

Friday - The best of Tel Aviv sightseeing (ancient and contemporary)
After a visit to the Diaspora museum we take in the sights of modern Tel Aviv. Stopping on route at Rabin square where Prime Minister Rabin was assassinated. We continue onto the picturesque city of Old Jaffa (Yaffo) with its ancient ruins, historic port and quaint art stores and galleries. We visit Tel Aviv's first neighborhood Neve Tzedek before heading to the pedestrian street of Nahalat Benyamin with its handicraft stalls and musicians. We end our day amongst the bustling cafes' and stores on one of Tel Aviv's most fashionable streets, 'Sheinkin'. Overnight in Tel Aviv

Saturday - You may spend the Shabbat at leisure, enjoying the beach, or taking in sights independently.

Sunday – Highlights of the Mediterranean coast.
We leave Tel Aviv and head along the coast to the beautiful historic town of Caesarea. Here we take in the fabulous Roman ruins situated on the delightful coast and set against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea. From Here we head to Haifa where we take in the spectacular views of the bay and from the summit of Mount Carmel. We stop at the naval museum dedicated to the immigrants who came to Israel by boat during the mandate. Continuing along the coast we reach the ancient port town of Acre where we visit its ancient harbor and local market. From Acre we head to the scenic sea cliffs of Rosh Hanikra, the most northern point on Israel's Mediterranean coast. By cable car we descend into the picturesque sea caves that are carved into the limestone cliff. We spend the night at the guesthouse of a local kibbutz.

Monday - Jewish Tradition and scenic 4x4 Jeep Tour
Beginning in Safed (Tzfat) the historical home of Kabbalah and Jewish mysticism we visit the ancient synagogues and famous artists quarter before heading into nature for some 4x4 off road adventure in the surrounding hills. We take some time out to visit the Golan, including an old Syrian army base and the Banias springs. We continue on through the pastoral hills to the famous monument at Tel Hai in honor of Josef Trumpledor. We spend the night at a Kibbutz guesthouse.

Tuesday – Beit Shean, Tiberias, Jerusalem
We begin the day visiting Tiberias in the Galilee and the grave of Rambam. From there we continue our tour onto Beit Shean where we see the largest archeological park in Israel and explore the fascinating excavations taking place there. After visiting the Byzantine synagogue of Beit Alpha we continue on to Gan HaShlosha (Sahne) where we enjoy the natural warm water pools that attract visitors year round. The springs are located near Mount Gilboa where King Saul died fighting the Philistines. We continue on through the Jordan valley and begin our ascent to Jerusalem. As we enter the city of Jerusalem we stop for a blessing on Mount Scopus before heading to our hotel for the night.

Wednesday - Jewish tour of Jerusalem (walking tour in Jerusalem’s Old City)
Today is a sightseeing tour that covers all the Jewish highlights inside the walls of Jerusalem's Old city. Beginning at the tomb of King David on mount Zion we walk the Cardo to the Jewish quarter where visit some of the most beautifully restored synagogues and main Jewish and historic sites such as The Kotel – Western Wall (or Wailing Wall), The Kotel Tunnels, Jaffa Gate and David's tower with it's ancient remains dating back to the first temple. Along the route we see many other major sites such as the Arab Bazaar and Christian Churches that make up the rich cultural diversity we find within the city walls. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Thursday – Jewish Jerusalem, outside the city walls.
Today we begin with the Bar Mitzvah ceremonies at the Kotel (Western or Wailing Wall) before leaving the Old City Walls and touring modern Jerusalem. We begin in the Ultra Orthodox Jewish community of Mea Shearim to see their unique way of life. We drive by Israel's Parliament buildings the Knesset and see its famous Menorah as we head to the Israel museum where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed. We continue to Mount Herzl the main military cemetery and burial place of many of Israel's former leaders. A short distance away we find Israel's main holocaust memorial, Yad Vashem. From here we go to Ammunition Hill which was taken during the Six Day war and is a fascinating insight into the fighting and conquests that took place during the war. From here we head to our hotel and overnight in Jerusalem.

Friday – Qumran, Masada, Dead Sea
We head into the Judean desert towards the shores of the Dead Sea coast. We stop on the way at Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered before continuing along the Dead Sea coast to Masada. This mighty fortress built by King Herod and perched on the cliffs overlooking the Dead Sea is one of Israel’s most visited tourist attractions. A breathtaking and fascinating site that is highly symbolic to Israelis and Jews the world over. We ascend Masada by cable care and witness the splendid views and tour the most important archeological sites before returning down to the Dead coast for lunch at a local spa. We have the opportunity to take a dip in the healing waters and get baked in the rejuvenating mud before boarding our bus for our journey back to Jerusalem and overnight there.
