Day 1:
We start this tour driving to Jerusalem.  From top of the Mt. of Olives we can enjoy a panoramic view of the Jerusalem which gives us a good insight into it's complex history. Then we hike down through the Mt of Olives Cemetery to the Garden of Gethsemane where some Olive Trees are almost 2000 years old. We head on to the Kidron Valley and its ancient burial-monuments. From here a steep trail leads us to the wall surrounding Jerusalem and enter the old city via the “Dung Gate”. We first visit the Western Wall. Then we visit Jerusalem's golden dome The Dome of the Rock. We continue in the footsteps of Jesus along the Stations of the Cross - Via Dolorosa,  this leads us to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where the final five stations are. Inside this huge Basilica is the hill of Cavalry and the tomb of Jesus. The Via Dolorosa also passes through the Old City's oriental "Suq" (market). At the end of the day we visit King David's Tomb and the "Room of the Last Supper". In the afternoon we have time to stroll along the Arab Market, walk through water in the 1 mile long Siloah-Tunnel, built by the Jewish king Hezekiah in 701 BCE or drive through the New City of Jerusalem, passing the Parliament building (Knesset). Day 2:
After breakfast we drive to “the Valley of the Therabynth”, where the famous fight between David and Goliath took place. After telling this dramatic biblical saga from a viewpoint on the hill, we will visit the Azeka-cave-system. This sophisticated system of caves was curved out of the rock by the Jewish Bar-Kochba rebels, who rebelled against the Romans in the 2nd century. From here we drive to Acre (Akko), an ancient oriental port-city by the Mediterranean Sea. Here we take the opportunity to walk on its massive walls, and take a look at the historic of Akko, which is still used by fishermen and travelers. Drive for overnight to our hotel near the Sea of Galilee (HB)

Day 3:
Today we visit the places where Jesus taught by the Sea of Galilee: Capernaum where he spent most of his teaching years, with Peters House and the famous Synagogue. We enjoy the views from Mt. of the Beatitudes, where the "Sermon on the Mount" was given, and visit the reconstructed church at Tabgha, where tradition places the miracle of the Bread and The Fish. In the afternoon we drive to the Jordan River, where we get aboard rafting-boats, to raft down the river… Drive for overnight to our hotel near the Sea of Galilee (HB)

Day 4:
We leave the Sea of Galilee and drive up to the Yahudiyah Nature Reserve.Where we spend the day having some real outdoor adventures. An experienced absailing instructor takes us through Israel's famous Black Gorge. The Black Gorge is amongst Israel's best rappelling Routes and is for the more outgoing traveler. We leave the abseiling behind and make our way to the dead sea and our hotel.

Day 5:
Today we explore the Negev's most famous site Masada. We ascend Masada - King Herod's mighty desert palace to enjoy the spectacular views of the Dead Sea and it's fascinating ruins. It was here that courageous Jews held-out against  the might of the conquering Roman army.They eventually committed mass suicide rather than surrender into slavery. Masada is one of Israel's most impressive historic sites. We descend Masada and end the day with on the shores of the Dead Sea where we basque in the beautifying mud and enjoy a dip in the dead sea waters.

Day 6:
Our vehicle takes us to the ruins of the ancient Nabatean city Avdat, once a major stopover for the caravans that transported the incense and frankincense through the Arabian Desert to the port of Gaza and onto Rome. After exploring the remnants of this once bustling city we continue by foot into the desert, passing the remains of some Nabatean agricultural systems. Finally we arrive at the Ein Akev spring, where we have an opportunity to bathe and refresh ourselves. After a picnic lunch in Ein Akev, we hike along the cliffs overlooking the Tzin valley and end the day visiting Ben-Gurion's resting-place, here our vehicle will be waiting for us.

Day 7:
Today we start our 3 day jeep Safari across the Negev Desert.The Jeeps will take us into the Ramon “Crater” – a unique geological phenomena. Following a 4x4 trail we arrive at the top of Mt. Gewanim, overlooking the Ramon Crater. After another steep drive down the mountain, and a short drive through Nachal (Wadi) Gewanim, we arrive at the bottom of the Saharonim Ridge, where we start a 2 hour hike by foot: We walk on top of the ridge, between two cliffs that enable us to enjoy a wide view over vast areas of the Negev Desert. Then we walk down to the oasis Ein Saharonim, where the Jeeps will wait for us by the ancient Nabatean caravansarei. From here our Jeeps will take us along the famous “Incense Route”, in the footsteps of the Nabatean Caravans carrying their goods from “Arabia Felix” to Rome. After driving through the impressive Canyon of Nachal Nekarot we arrive at the Nekarot-Fortress. After a short walk to the Nabatean Water-Cistern nearby, we set our camp for the night (FB)

Day 8:
We continue with the Jeeps along the “Incense Road”, passing by the Katzra-Fortress, and arriving at the Moah Oasis. We visit its most interesting sites, such as the ancient caravansarei, the Nabatean water-pool and more. Then we drive along the “Spring Route” and arrive at the bottom of the Barak-Gorge. Here we leave our jeeps and continue on foot, climbing on rope-ladders over the Barak-Water-Holes which are filled with water after rainfall. A 1.5 hour hike brings us to Mt. Kippa, where our Jeep-drivers will have started to set up our camp. (FB) 

Day 9:
Our tour is now southward bound, towards Eilat taking in sites of interest along the way. Towards the end of the day we reach the “Scouts Ascent” and the deep canyon of Nachal Eteq. Nachal Eteq has a canyon with water holes (following rains), with the help of some fixtures we traverse the canyon. We reach Eilat in the late afternoon. Overnight: Eilat Field School (FB)

Day 10:
We spend the day on the Red Sea, a yacht that takes us along the colorful coral reef of the Eilat's bay  to Egypt's picturesque Coral Island with its scenic Crusader Castle. This cruise includes Diving and snorkeling in the coral reef and BBQ lunch onboard. Overnight: Eilat Field School (FB)
