Evening – pickup from Eilat hotel at 20:00, assistance with border crossing on both sides, drive to Cairo (takes between 9-11 hours from the border crossing). Reach Cairo in the morning (arrival time depends on departure time) and start your tour.

Day one – After breakfast we commence a tour that explores the greatest highlights of Cairo and delves into its incredible history and rich Egyptian heritage. We begin this tour at the very symbols of Egypt and its past - the Great Pyramids of Giza (one of the wonders of the ancient world) and the Sphinx. We explore this impressive site taking in the many interesting facts and sights along the way. We continue and tour the highlights of old Cairo including in the Mohamed Ali mosque and the fascinating Coptic churches. Having finished our tour of this area we head to our hotel (4* hotel).

This tour offers a wealth of Egypt’s most famous sights at great value for money. It includes the famous desert fortress of Saint Catherine’s monastery, Biblical Mount Sinai and the main sightseeing highlights of Cairo listed above.

Day one - Starting early morning we cross into Egypt and drive through the Sinai desert, here we can choose between visiting St. Catherine's monastery (not open on Sundays) or taking a scenic 3 hour camel ride*. Before continuing to Cairo by car.

Guests who wish to walk up Mount Sinai for the sunrise leave Israel the night before (around 23:00) and drive straight to Mt. Sinai to hike up the mountain in the early hours, this is a really popular choice with our more energetic visitors**. After sunrise there is a break for breakfast and then a tour of St. Catherine's monastery. We drive to Cairo in time to experience the famous Sound and Light show at the Pyramids and enjoy a Nile cruise dinner or evening meal at the hotel restaurant. Overnight in a Cairo hotel.

It takes in the impressive Mohammad Ali Mosque and Cairo's fascinating Coptic churches.
This popular two day Cairo sightseeing tour departs very early morning from Eilat ot the eve of the night before and crosses the Taba border into Sinai. The tour heads straight to Cairo via the Suez Canal.
Upon reaching Cairo we head for the Cairo museum and this is where our tour of Cairo's major sights begins. Your guide will offer you a brief but comprehensive insight into the history of ancient Egypt, explaining the dynasties, the religious beliefs and the legacy of the Pharaohs. The Cairo museum is the perfect beginning of any tour in Egypt. It is renowned for housing many of the worlds most precious treasures including the treasures of the Tutankhamen. It would take days to cover the whole museum so our specialist guide will point out the most famous artifacts and statues whilst unraveling for you the mysteries of ancient Egypt. Having taken in the highlights of the museum we take a break to enjoy lunch before making our way to the Pyramids and the Sphinx. We spend the afternoon taking in the Pyramids and the Sphinx, Egypt's most famous sights and the single surviving of the original ‘Seven Wonders of the World. We make our way from here to our hotel where we settle for the evening. An optional Nile dinner cruise is available upon request.
Following breakfast our tour takes us to Cairo's famous Mohamed Ali Mosque, an ancient crusader castle converted into an elaborate mosque. We head from here to the fascinating Coptic area of Cairo. Most of Egypt's Christians are Coptic Christians and here in the old Coptic area we find the ancient churches and important Coptic sights.
We take a break to enjoy luck before heading into what many consider the very heart of Cairo; Cairo's famous oriental market, The Khan el Khalili bazaar. We spend the rest of the afternoon taking in the unforgettable sights and sounds of this, bustling, colorful and enchanting bazaar. Before commencing our return journey to Eilat we stop at a traditional coffee-shop inside the market for refreshments including traditional deserts and tea/coffee.

This one day tour to Cairo from Eilat begins at 24:00 in Eilat and ends very late evening. It is a very long and tiring day and only suitable for clients who are very limited on time but very high on energy. It covers the main sights of Cairo including The Pyramids, Sphinx, Cairo Museum and Khan el Khalili bazaar.
Departing Eilat in the small hours the tour head for Cairo via the Suez Canal. We stop for lunch beside the world-renowned Cairo Museum and here we are given a comprehensive briefing by our specialist Egyptologist on the ancient Egyptian culture and history. Following breakfast we tour the Cairo museum taking in the main sights including the treasure of Tutankhamen and his famous death-mask. Following our tour of the Cairo Museum we head for Egypt's most famous sights. The Pyramids and the Sphinx. The Pyramid at Giza is the only remaining wonder of the Seven Wonders of the World. Our tour takes us around the Pyramids and the impressive Sphinx.
We conclude our tour of Cairo taking in the sights of Khan el Khalili bazaar. We enjoy some traditional deserts and refreshments at a local coffee shop before commencing our return journey to Eilat. We reach the Taba border late evening.
